President confers military awards on Armed Forces personnel

Islamabad, March 24, 2025: President Asif Ali Zardari conferred military awards on 44 officers of the Pakistan Armed Forces in a ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Monday. The event, organized in connection with Pakistan Day, was attended by the Chairman Senate, federal ministers, senior military officials, government representatives, and the families of the award recipients.

The president awarded the Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military) to several senior officers, including Air Marshal Muhammad Sarfraz, Air Marshal Kazim Hammad, Air Marshal Shakil Ghazanfar, and a number of major generals, rear admirals, and air vice marshals in recognition of their outstanding service.

In addition, Captain Syed Amir Raza was honored with the Sitara-i-Basalat for his exceptional bravery in fighting terrorists at Naval Aviation Base Turbat.
