Karachi, April 27, 2025: President Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday instructed Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah to ensure the timely completion of ongoing development projects across Sindh, emphasizing their critical role in promoting public welfare and regional prosperity.

During a meeting in Karachi, the two leaders discussed the overall political situation in Sindh and reviewed progress on key development initiatives. President Zardari stressed the importance of completing projects on schedule to serve the people effectively and boost economic growth in the province.

Separately, a key discussion took place over the ongoing dispute regarding the construction of canals. Rana Sanaullah, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs, spoke by phone with Sindh’s Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon. Both leaders agreed to pursue a negotiated settlement through dialogue and mutual understanding.

Rana Sanaullah reiterated that the federal government is committed to addressing Sindh’s concerns. He added that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif have issued clear instructions for resolving the matter amicably, signaling a cooperative approach toward easing tensions between the federal and Sindh governments.
