Rawalpindi, September 19, 2024- Pakistan’s security officials have said that Lieutenant General (Retired) Faiz Hameed, was promoting a specific political party, while sitting in a responsible position.
The officials said that Faiz Hameed is accused of acting under political influence, and he is currently facing a court-martial.
They added that the Pakistan’s military is loyal to the constitution and do not hold any political ideologies. Hitler also used the same phenomenon as used his military for political purposes.
According to security officials, the army maintains a non-political relationship with the ruling elite unlike Indian Prime Minister Modi who politicized the Indian army and took action against his opponents.
The army’s relationship with the ruling political party remains non-political, and all political parties in the country are respected.
Security officials made it clear that there will be no dialogue with the Fitna Al-Khawarij, as did political party in the past. Terrorists are receiving training in Afghanistan, and we are in talks with the interim Afghan government to control the terrorists.
Security officials privy to the situation said that more than a hundred intelligence-based operations are being carried out against the terrorists on daily basis.
They said that in Lakki Marwat, criminal gangs are active, and when actions are taken against these gangs, protests are staged. The army is carrying out its responsibilities in Lakki Marwat at the request of the provincial government, and once the provincial government asks, the army will withdraw from Lakki Marwat.
