IG Motorway Police reviews licensing system at Islamabad authority

Islamabad, May 15, 2025: Inspector General of National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP), B.A. Nasir, paid an official visit to the Motorway Driving Licensing Authority in Islamabad on Thursday. The visit aimed to assess the performance and modernization of the licensing system.

During his tour, the IG conducted a comprehensive review of the advanced licensing processes and facilities. He emphasized the need for a transparent, efficient, and citizen-friendly approach to the issuance of driving licenses to ensure timely and hassle-free service delivery to the public.

Highlighting the importance of service quality, B.A. Nasir directed staff to maintain uniform standards and deliver high-quality services to all citizens. He also urged the use of modern technology to further improve system performance and public convenience.

Commending the authority’s current operations, he remarked that the Motorway Police remain committed to excellence in public service and will continue to raise service standards across all departments.

The Inspector General took the opportunity to engage with staff, listening to their suggestions for further improvement. He issued relevant instructions on the spot to facilitate these enhancements.

Concluding his visit, B.A. Nasir reiterated that the Motorway Police are focused on continuous reforms and the expansion of modern facilities. These efforts aim to ensure that citizens have easier access to high-quality driving licenses in the future.
