Riyadh, October 11, 2024 — In a significant step toward international expansion, Saudi Arabia’s Al Baik Food Systems Company and Pakistan’s GO Company have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore opportunities for Al Baik’s expansion into the Pakistani market. The agreement, backed by the Saudi Ministry of Investment, aims to establish a strategic partnership for the setup and operation of Al Baik restaurants in Pakistan.

The signing ceremony, held under the patronage of Saudi Minister of Investment Engineer Khalid Al-Falih, was attended by the Pakistani Prime Minister and senior delegations from both countries. This move aligns with Saudi Vision 2030’s goal of promoting Saudi expertise globally and opening new horizons for Saudi businesses on the international stage.

GO Company, a leading player in Pakistan’s oil and gas sector in which Saudi Aramco holds a 40% stake, will partner with Al Baik to facilitate the brand’s entry into Pakistan. This collaboration highlights Saudi Arabia’s commitment to diversifying its economy and expanding into foreign markets.

The initiative underscores the role of the Saudi Ministry of Investment in driving the goals of Vision 2030 and enhancing the Kingdom’s global economic presence.
