Harare, September 7, 2025: A dazzling unbeaten 73 off 43 balls from Kamil Mishara sealed an emphatic eight-wicket win for Sri Lanka and a 2-1 series victory over Zimbabwe in the final T20I at Harare Sports Club on Sunday.

Chasing 192, Sri Lanka got off to a strong start with a 50-run opening stand between Pathum Nissanka (33) and Kusal Mendis (30). Zimbabwe hit back through Brad Evans and Sikandar Raza, who removed the openers in quick succession, but Mishara’s fluent knock — featuring six fours and two sixes — turned the game firmly in Sri Lanka’s favour.

Kusal Perera, recalled after being left out of the second match, struck an unbeaten 46 off 26 balls, adding an unbroken 109-run stand with Mishara to guide Sri Lanka home with 14 balls to spare.

Earlier, Zimbabwe posted a competitive 191/8, led by Tadiwanashe Marumani’s 51 and handy contributions from the middle order. Dushan Hemantha (3-38) and Dushmantha Chameera (2-33) were the pick of Sri Lanka’s bowlers, though the visitors were guilty of lapses in the field that allowed Zimbabwe to push past 190.

Brief scores: Zimbabwe 191/8 (Tadiwanashe Marumani 51, Sikandar Raza 28; Dushan Hemantha 3-38, Dushmantha Chameera 2-33)
Sri Lanka 193/2 in 17.4 overs (Kamil Mishara 73*, Kusal Perera 46*; Brad Evans 1-28, Sikandar Raza 1-29)
Result: Sri Lanka won by 8 wickets, clinch series 2-1.
