Gaza, October 14,2024- Israeli shelling on a refugee camp set up in a school in Gaza has claimed the lives of 22 Palestinian refugees, according to Arab media reports. Israeli tanks targeted the school in the eastern Gaza area of Nuseirat, where Palestinian refugees were taking shelter. The attack resulted in more than 80 injuries, with women and children among the 22 killed.

In a separate incident, Israeli warplanes bombed tents housing Palestinian refugees in the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the Deir al-Balah area, killing four people and injuring 70 others.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces arrested 18 Palestinians during a so-called security operation in Jenin. Earlier, Israeli military forces demolished several homes in the Jabalia refugee camp in Gaza using explosives. Over the past week, more than 200 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces. Since the escalation of Israeli bombings and ground operations in Gaza and other occupied Palestinian territories on October 7, 2023, more than 43,000 people have been killed, and over 100,000 have been injured.
