Islamabad, October 10, 2025: The jury meeting to finalize the results of the “IIUI Student Reel Contest 2025 – The Silent Hercules: Builders Behind the Scenes” was held at the Council Hall, Administration Block, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI).

Launched under the vision and directives of IIUI President Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, the contest aimed to celebrate the tireless efforts of the university’s unsung heroes — the labourers and custodial staff who contribute behind the scenes to keep the campus running smoothly.

A total of 14 shortlisted reels were evaluated in the final round by a jury comprising senior journalist and content creator Fiaz Mahmood (Express News); Dr. Asma Mansoor, In-Charge Protocol and Public Relations; Dr. Qurat ul Ain Malik and Dr. Rooh ul Amin, Assistant Professors at the Department of Media and Communication Studies; Dr. Inaam ul Haq, Director Administration; and Muhammad Nauman, Assistant Director Protocol and Public Relations.

Following a detailed evaluation based on creativity, storytelling, technical quality, and thematic relevance, the jury announced Syeda Zainab Tehseen and her team as first prize winners. Muhammad Muzzamil Hussain secured the second position, while Saqib Alam was declared the third prize winner.

The judges praised the participants’ creativity and enthusiasm, noting that all contestants reflected deep respect and appreciation for the university’s behind-the-scenes workforce. It was also announced that certificates of appreciation will be awarded to all participants who did not secure top positions.

The IIUI President will soon distribute cash prizes, shields, and certificates among the winners and participants at a special ceremony to be organized by the Protocol and Public Relations Office.
