Karachi, October 14, 2025: The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan soared to an all-time high on Tuesday, rising by Rs6,900 per tola to settle at Rs435,100 compared to Rs428,200 a day earlier.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs5,916 to Rs373,028, while 22-karat gold reached Rs341,954 per 10 grams, marking a gain of Rs5,423.
Analysts attributed the sharp rise to global market volatility, weakening currencies, and investors’ growing preference for gold as a safe-haven asset. In the international market, gold prices surged by $69 to $4,140 per ounce.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged at Rs5,247 per tola and $51.60 per ounce internationally.
Experts warned that gold prices could see further fluctuations amid global inflationary pressures and geopolitical uncertainty.
