Lahore, December 16, 2025: The 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is scheduled to take place from March 26 to May 3, 2026, featuring an expanded lineup of eight teams and a two-phase tournament format designed to be completed within a 39-day window.

Under the approved structure, the first phase will follow a single-league format, where each team faces every other team once, ensuring all sides play a minimum of seven matches before advancing to the next stage.

The second phase will adopt a Super Four-style format, dividing the eight teams into two groups of four. Each team will play three matches in this stage, culminating in a total of 12 fixtures. The top two teams from each group will then advance to the playoffs, which will include four matches, including the final, to determine the PSL 2026 champion.

Despite the expansion from six to eight teams, each franchise will still play a minimum of 10 matches, maintaining consistency with previous editions.

Matches will be hosted across Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, and, for the first time, Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, marking the venue’s debut as a PSL host city.

Launched in 2016 with five franchises and later expanded to six teams in 2018, the PSL continues its growth trajectory, with the addition of two new franchises for the upcoming 11th edition. This expansion aims to further strengthen Pakistan’s domestic T20 cricket and broaden the league’s fan base nationwide.
