Mumbai, December 21, 2025: Actress and dancer Nora Fatehi has broken her silence after a frightening road accident in Mumbai on Saturday, revealing that her car was hit by a drunk driver in what she described as one of the most “terrifying and traumatic experiences” of her life.

Despite the severity of the crash, the 33-year-old Canadian performer went ahead with her scheduled stage performance alongside DJ David Guetta just hours later, drawing praise from fans for her resilience. On Sunday, Nora took to Instagram Stories to update her followers about the incident and her condition.

Sharing details of the accident, Nora said she banged her head against the car window due to the impact and is still experiencing pain. “I was in a really serious car accident in the afternoon. A drunk person driving under the influence smashed my car, and the impact was quite severe — it flung me across the car. I bashed my head on the window,” she said. She added that she suffered minor injuries, swelling and a slight concussion, but reassured fans that she is now safe.

Expressing gratitude for her recovery, Nora stressed that the incident could have ended far worse and used the moment to strongly condemn drunk driving. “I’m alive and I’m well, except for some minor injuries. This is why you should not drink and drive. It’s 2025 — I cannot believe this is even a conversation,” she said, adding that she has never supported alcohol, drugs or anything that alters a person’s state of mind.

The actress concluded her message by thanking fans, friends and well-wishers who reached out to check on her, expressing appreciation for their concern and support as she recovers from the ordeal.
