Addressing the participants, Dr Tariq Saleem spoke on Pakistan’s internal situation, the evolving regional environment and the major challenges facing the Islamic world. He underscored the critical role of Muslim youth in the current era, describing them as a key force for positive change amid rapidly shifting global dynamics.
He said that despite possessing vast resources, Muslims around the world continue to face oppression and injustice at the hands of tyrannical forces, attributing this situation to a lack of unity and collective resolve within the Muslim Ummah. Emphasising the importance of youth leadership, Dr Tariq Saleem said young people represent the future of the Ummah and must take an active role in shaping its destiny.
Highlighting the role of the International Islamic Federation of Student Organizations, he termed it a meaningful and strategic platform aimed at uniting Islamic student movements globally. Such initiatives, he said, are vital for raising awareness among young leaders about global challenges and for promoting alternative narratives grounded in justice, equity and fairness.
