IDC, UAE embassy discuss expanding healthcare collaboration

Islamabad, December 24, 2025: Islamabad Diagnostic Centre (IDC) continues to strengthen its long-standing relationship with the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Pakistan, reaffirming shared commitments to healthcare development and public welfare.

IDC’s Founding Chairman and CEO, Dr. Rizwan Uppal, met with Salem Mohammed Salem Al Bawab Al Zaabi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Pakistan, to discuss avenues for enhanced cooperation in the healthcare sector and collaborative public welfare initiatives. The meeting underscored mutual interest in supporting accessible and quality diagnostic services across Pakistan.

During the interaction, the UAE Ambassador appreciated IDC’s role as one of Pakistan’s leading diagnostic networks, with a presence of 160 branches across 56 cities. He also commended IDC’s impactful social responsibility initiatives, particularly its provision of free medical treatment for Road Traffic Accident (RTA) victims, describing them as a meaningful contribution to public health and community welfare.
