Islamabad, January 12, 2026: The Chairman Senate held a progress update meeting today with the Country Director of Save the Children Pakistan to review ongoing programs and discuss upcoming initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of children and vulnerable communities nationwide.
During the meeting, the Country Director briefed the Chairman on the organization’s portfolio, covering education, child protection, health and nutrition, humanitarian response, and resilience-building programs. The discussion highlighted the impact of ongoing projects, particularly in underserved and crisis-affected areas, and examined geographic coverage and progress achieved.
The meeting also focused on future initiatives and strategic priorities, emphasizing alignment with national development and humanitarian goals and strengthening collaboration with government institutions for sustainable outcomes.
The Chairman Senate appreciated Save the Children Pakistan’s contributions toward advancing children’s rights and ensuring access to essential services. He stressed the importance of coordinated efforts between government, civil society, and development partners to tackle persistent challenges, including quality education, child protection, and equitable health services.
