Beijing, February 1, 2026: Ambassador of Pakistan to China, Mr. Khalil Hashmi, received Ms. Zhang Xiaomei, Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office (FAO) of Hubei Province, at the Pakistan Embassy in Beijing.
During the meeting, Ambassador Hashmi appreciated Hubei FAO’s continued support in advancing Pakistan-China cooperation across multiple sectors, with a particular focus on agriculture. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the ongoing progress of joint research initiatives and discussed upcoming activities to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations.
The meeting also highlighted recent achievements in capacity building, noting that just two months ago, 190 Pakistani agricultural professionals graduated from Huazhong University in Hubei under the Prime Minister’s capacity-building initiative.
