Islamabad, February 18,2026: A meeting was held between the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Yousuf Sharifzoda, and the leadership of the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST).
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to expanding cooperation in the fields of education and science, including the launch of student and faculty exchange programs, the implementation of joint research projects, and the development of collaboration between higher education institutions of the two countries.
The Ambassador emphasized Tajikistan’s readiness to further strengthen academic ties and promote direct cooperation between universities of Tajikistan and NUST. The university leadership also expressed its interest in advancing mutually beneficial cooperation.
Both sides expressed confidence that the meeting would contribute to the further strengthening of scientific and research collaboration and the expansion of partnership in the field of education between Tajikistan and Pakistan.
