Lahore, February 28, 2026: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud this evening, expressing concern over the recent regional tensions.

The Prime Minister strongly condemned the escalation triggered by today’s Israeli attack on Iran, followed by subsequent attacks on other Gulf countries. He assured the Saudi leadership of Pakistan’s full solidarity and support amid the crisis.

“Pakistan will always stand with its Saudi brothers and sisters, at all times and under all circumstances,” the Prime Minister said. He added that Pakistan was ready to play a constructive role during this difficult period and prayed that the blessings of the Holy Month of Ramadan would soon bring peace to the region.
