British side should correct its wrong actions, China

Beijing, March 2,2026: The British government, under the pretext of its involvement with Russia, has repeatedly included Chinese companies in sanctions lists.

These measures that are not based on international law and set up unilateral sanctions without United Nations authorization, to which China expresses strong dissatisfaction and firm opposition.

The affirmation was made on Monday by a spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Commerce.

commenting on the decision adopted by the United Kingdom on the 24th of last month to impose fresh sanctions on several Chinese companies.

The spokesman stressed that, in relation to the crisis in Ukraine, China always strictly controls, according to law and regulations, the export of military and civilian dual-use items.

According to him, the British side should correct its wrong actions to maintain the good development of relations between the two countries.

while China will take necessary measures to defend the legitimate interests of its companies,the spokesman said.
