Fuel prices increased

Islamabad, October 31, 2024-The federal government has announced to increase the petrol prices by Rs1.35 per litre, bringing the rate to Rs248.38 per litre. High-speed diesel (HSD) saw a larger increase of Rs3.85, now priced at Rs255.14 per litre, as per a notification from the Finance Division issued on late Thursday evening.

Meanwhile, the price of light diesel oil was reduced by Rs2.61 to Rs147.51 per litre, and kerosene oil dropped by Rs1.48 to Rs161.54 per litre. These revised fuel prices will take effect on November 1, 2024.

In the previous price review, the government had kept petrol prices steady but raised HSD by Rs5 per litre.
