NA Speaker offers condolences to families of veteran parliamentarians

Islamabad, April 7, 2026: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Tuesday visited several lawmakers to offer condolences over the passing of their fathers, all of whom were veteran parliamentarians with notable public service records.

The Speaker met Member National Assembly Malik Awais Haider Jakhar to express sympathy on the demise of his father, former MNA Malik Niaz Ahmad Jakhar. He paid tribute to the late leader’s dedicated service to the nation and prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul, as well as strength and patience for the bereaved family.

In a separate meeting, the Speaker extended condolences to MNA Muhammad Miqdad Ali Khan over the death of his father, former MNA Sardar Muhammad Shafqat Hayat Khan. He acknowledged the late parliamentarian’s valuable contributions and conveyed heartfelt sympathies, praying for the deceased’s elevated ranks in the hereafter and fortitude for the family.

Speaker Ayaz Sadiq also met MNA Muhammad Saadullah Khan Baloch to condole the passing of his father, former Federal Minister Mian Nasir Ali Khan Baloch. He recognized the late leader’s significant role in public service and expressed deep sorrow over the loss.

During the meetings, the Speaker offered prayers for all departed souls and reaffirmed solidarity with the grieving families, acknowledging the enduring contributions of the late leaders to Pakistan’s parliamentary and political landscape.
