Lahore, April 17, 2026: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is engaged in ongoing discussions with Cricket Australia regarding the scheduling of Australia’s upcoming white-ball tour of Pakistan, according to sources cited by a private sports channel.
Pakistan are expected to host Australia for a three-match One Day International (ODI) series, with the visiting side likely to arrive towards the end of May. The matches are tentatively scheduled between May 31 and June 5.
As per the proposed itinerary, one ODI is expected to be played in Rawalpindi, while the remaining two matches are likely to be staged in Lahore.
Australia last toured Pakistan earlier this year for a three-match T20 International series, further strengthening bilateral cricketing ties between the two boards.
Following the Pakistan tour, Australia are scheduled to travel to Bangladesh for another white-ball assignment, with the first ODI set for June 9.
Meanwhile, Pakistan are also preparing for their own upcoming international commitments, including a proposed two-match series in Bangladesh between May 8 and May 20.
The series against Australia will be part of a packed international calendar for Pakistan under the ICC Future Tours Programme (2023–2027), which also includes a three-Test tour of England later in the year from August 19 to September 13.
Pakistan are additionally expected to tour the West Indies for a two-Test series in July–August, while Sri Lanka are scheduled to visit Pakistan for a two-Test series in November. New Zealand are also set to tour in March 2027 for another two-Test assignment.
The PCB is currently finalizing details of the Australia series in coordination with the visiting board, with official confirmation expected in the coming weeks.
