Islamabad, April 21, 2026: The Pakistan Navy has successfully conducted a live weapon firing of the indigenously developed Taimoor Air-Launched Cruise Missile, demonstrating enhanced precision strike capability and operational readiness.

According to an official statement, the air-launched cruise missile accurately executed its mission, validating the Navy’s ability to detect, track, and neutralize enemy sea-based targets at extended ranges.

The successful test marks a significant boost to Pakistan’s defence capabilities, reinforcing the Pakistan Armed Forces multi-dimensional and coordinated strike posture in the conventional domain.

The Navy reiterated its commitment to safeguarding the country’s maritime interests and ensuring the security of its sovereign waters.

Meanwhile, the President of Pakistan, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and services chiefs congratulated the scientists and engineers involved in achieving this milestone.
