Islamabad, May 9, 2026: Pakistan has extended warm felicitations to the European Union and its member states on the occasion of Europe Day, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening longstanding ties with the bloc.

In an official message issued on Friday, Pakistan stated that it highly valued its enduring partnership with the European Union, which is rooted in mutual respect, shared values, and a common commitment to peace, prosperity, and sustainable development.

The message highlighted the importance of continued cooperation between Pakistan and the EU across various sectors, including trade, development, climate action, education, and regional stability.

Pakistan also expressed hope for further strengthening bilateral and multilateral engagement with the European Union to promote inclusive growth, economic cooperation, and global peace.

The European Union remains one of Pakistan’s key economic and development partners, with collaboration spanning diplomacy, commerce, governance reforms, and sustainable development initiatives.
