Beijing, May 24, 2026: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Beijing on Sunday after concluding his official engagements in Hangzhou as part of his ongoing visit to China.
The prime minister was received at Beijing Capital International Airport by China’s Minister for Environment and Ecology Huang Runqiu.
During his stay in Hangzhou, PM Shehbaz Sharif chaired the opening ceremony of the third Pakistan-China Business-to-Business (B2B) Investment Conference, which focused on key sectors including charging infrastructure, battery energy storage systems, solar technologies, and pharmaceuticals.
The prime minister also held meetings with provincial leadership and senior representatives of leading Chinese companies, including StarCharge, CATL, and Xiuzheng Pharmaceutical, to explore opportunities for industrial cooperation and investment.
He also visited the headquarters of Alibaba Group, where he was received by Executive Chairman Joe Tsai, and discussed potential avenues for enhanced digital and e-commerce collaboration between Pakistan and China.
