Islamabad, June 20, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar departed for Cairo on Saturday to participate in the fourth meeting of the R-4 Foreign Ministers comprising Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Egypt.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the high-level meeting will bring together the foreign ministers of the four countries to discuss matters of mutual interest, regional developments, and avenues for enhanced cooperation.

During his visit, Dar is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with the participating foreign ministers on the sidelines of the conference. The discussions are expected to focus on strengthening diplomatic, economic, and strategic ties, as well as exchanging views on key regional and international issues.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister will additionally call on Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi during his stay in Cairo.

The R-4 forum serves as an important platform for consultation and coordination among Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Egypt, enabling the four countries to deepen cooperation on regional security, economic integration, and broader geopolitical challenges.

Dar’s visit comes amid intensified diplomatic engagement by Pakistan with key regional partners and reflects Islamabad’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with influential countries in the Muslim world.
