Tajik Ambassador meets Chairperson of the Pakistan Academy of Letters

Islamabad June 22,2026: A meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Yusuf Sharifzoda, and the Chairperson of the Pakistan Academy of Letters, Dr. Najeeba Arif.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to strengthening Tajikistan–Pakistan relations, enhancing scientific, literary, and cultural cooperation, as well as expanding links between the research, academic, and cultural institutions of the two countries.

Particular attention was given to the prospects for launching joint scientific and literary initiatives, promoting exchanges among academic circles, and implementing cooperative programs aimed at the study and promotion of the literary and cultural heritage of both nations.

The parties emphasized the importance of scientific and cultural cooperation as a significant factor in the development of bilateral relations and expressed their readiness to further expand cooperation in these fields.
