Karachi, June 24, 2026: Swiss companies operating in Pakistan continue to play an important role in the country’s economic development through long-term investments, innovation, and professional expertise, reflecting the strong and enduring business relationship between Pakistan and Switzerland.
A delegation from the Swiss Embassy, led by Deputy Head of Mission Marius Stucki, recently visited several Swiss companies in Karachi to review their operations and engagement in Pakistan’s economy.
During the visit, the delegation met with representatives of leading Swiss firms, including SICPA, Archroma, SGS, Givaudan, and Habib Metropolitan Bank, as well as members of the Swiss Business Council.
Officials noted that the continued presence of Swiss enterprises in Pakistan demonstrates their confidence in the country’s economic potential and their commitment to supporting sustainable growth across various sectors.
The delegation observed that Swiss companies operating in Pakistan maintain high professional standards while promoting innovation, technology transfer, and capacity building. Particular emphasis was placed on developing local talent and creating opportunities for professional growth within the workforce.
