Islamabad, July 14, 2026: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday hosted a Mango Festival in Islamabad to celebrate the diversity, premium quality and global appeal of Pakistan’s world-renowned mangoes while promoting the country’s cultural heritage and export potential.
Foreign Secretary Ambassador Amna Baloch attended the event as the chief guest. Members of the diplomatic corps, senior government officials and representatives of the business community also participated in the festival.
The event showcased a wide variety of Pakistani mangoes, highlighting their unique taste, quality and growing international demand.
Speaking on the occasion, participants underscored the importance of promoting Pakistan’s agricultural products in global markets and using cultural diplomacy to strengthen the country’s international image.
The festival also served as a platform to highlight Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage and reinforce efforts to expand mango exports by introducing the country’s premium fruit to diplomats, foreign missions and international stakeholders.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the event reflected Pakistan’s commitment to showcasing its agricultural excellence and sharing the country’s unique flavours and traditions with the world.
