Yangon, July 17, 2026: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Myanmar, Tariq Karim, received Ms. Marilina Armellin, the newly appointed Head of Mission of the Italian Embassy in Yangon, during a courtesy meeting on Friday.
During the meeting, the two diplomats exchanged views on a wide range of issues of mutual interest and discussed matters relating to bilateral cooperation.
Ms. Armellin also reflected on her recent tenure as Italy’s Ambassador to Pakistan and shared her positive impressions of the country, highlighting the warm relations and cooperation she experienced during her diplomatic assignment.
