Rawalpindi, July 22, 2026: Security forces have killed 10 terrorists and arrested two female suicide bombers along with a facilitator during a series of intelligence-based operations conducted in Balochistan over the past 48 hours, the military said on Wednesday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations were carried out in Surab and Mastung districts as part of the ongoing campaign against what it described as the terrorist networks of “Indian-sponsored Fitna al Hindustan” and “Fitna al Khwarij.”

The military said security forces conducted multiple intelligence-based area sanitisation and targeted operations to eliminate terrorists and their facilitators.

During the operations in Surab district, security personnel engaged terrorist hideouts and killed seven militants. In a separate operation in Mastung district, three terrorists were killed, while two female suicide bombers and a facilitator, allegedly linked to “Indian-sponsored Fitna al Hindustan,” were apprehended.

The ISPR said security forces also recovered weapons, ammunition and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) from the terrorists.

It added that sanitisation operations were continuing in the area to eliminate any remaining militants.

The military reiterated that the country’s counterterrorism campaign under the Azm-e-Istehkam strategy, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, would continue in coordination with law enforcement agencies to eradicate what it termed foreign-sponsored terrorism from Pakistan.
