Rawalpindi, August 11, 2026: Security forces have killed five terrorists belonging to Fitna Al Hindustan during an intelligence-based operation in Panjgur district of Balochistan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The operation was conducted on August 10 as part of the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign against militant groups operating in the region.
According to ISPR, the operation was conducted on the basis of intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the area. Five militants were killed during the operation.
Security forces also recovered a significant cache of weapons, ammunition and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) from the site and destroyed the recovered material.
Sanitisation operations were subsequently conducted to eliminate any remaining threats in the area, ISPR said.
The military’s media wing said security forces and law enforcement agencies would continue the counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam”, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, to eliminate foreign-sponsored terrorism and restore lasting peace in the country.
