Bishkek, September 1, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Council of Heads of State meeting in Bishkek on Tuesday.
The two foreign ministers reaffirmed the close and growing Pakistan-Uzbekistan partnership and discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation across all areas of mutual interest.
The meeting took place during Pakistan’s high-level diplomatic engagements on the sidelines of the SCO summit, with the two sides reiterating their commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation and expanding collaboration between the two countries.
