Islamabad, September 3, 2026: Ms. Misbah Khar, Advisor to Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and Ambassador of the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference (ISC), will lead a Pakistani business delegation to Rwanda to explore new avenues for trade, investment and business-to-business cooperation between the two countries.
The development was discussed during a meeting between Misbah Khar and the Ambassador of Rwanda to Pakistan, where both sides reviewed ways to strengthen bilateral economic and investment ties.
During the meeting, Khar was invited to participate in the Rwanda-Pakistan Investment Forum, scheduled to be held from September 23 to 25, 2026, in Kigali under the auspices of the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) and the Rwanda High Commission in Pakistan.
Welcoming the invitation, Khar expressed her willingness to participate in the forum and confirmed that she would lead a Pakistani business delegation to Rwanda.
She said the forum would provide an important platform for Pakistani businesses and investors to explore Rwanda’s growing economic potential while creating opportunities for stronger commercial partnerships between the two countries.
Khar emphasised the importance of expanding business-to-business and people-to-people contacts, saying initiatives such as the investment forum could help identify new areas of economic cooperation and contribute to stronger bilateral relations.
The Rwanda-Pakistan Investment Forum is expected to bring together business leaders, investors and other relevant stakeholders from both countries to explore investment opportunities, establish partnerships and identify avenues for enhanced economic cooperation.
Khar expressed hope that her participation, along with the Pakistani business delegation, would contribute to strengthening Pakistan-Rwanda economic and commercial relations and help create new opportunities for businesses and investors in both countries.
