Sargodha, September 3, 2026: The Ambassador of Mauritius to Pakistan H. Munsoo Kurrimbaccus visited the Sargodha Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCC&I) along with his family and held a productive interaction with the Chamber’s leadership and members of the local business community.
Discussions focused on strengthening Pakistan–Mauritius trade and investment ties, with particular emphasis on opportunities in citrus, rice, textiles, handicrafts, cosmetics, gems and jewellery.
The Ambassador highlighted the significant potential for expanding bilateral trade and assured the Chamber of his support in facilitating business-to-business (B2B) linkages and cooperation with the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce. He also encouraged the SCC&I to organize a business delegation to Mauritius to explore new trade and investment opportunities.
During the visit, a tree plantation ceremony was also held at the Chamber premises. The programme was followed by a lunch hosted at the Sargodha Gymkhana.
The Ambassador expressed his appreciation to SCC&I President Khawaja Yasir Qayyum, the Executive Committee and the business community of Sargodha for their warm hospitality and valuable engagement.
