Islamabad, September 24, 2026: South Korean Ambassador to Pakistan Han Sungho met with Dr. Mufti Aqeel-Ur-Rehman Pirzada, Grand Mufti of Islamabad and Chairman of the Ulama Aman Committee Pakistan, on September 22 and discussed Pakistan’s religious diversity, interfaith harmony and ways to strengthen people-to-people contacts between Pakistan and South Korea.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the importance of promoting understanding among different faiths and exploring opportunities to enhance bilateral exchanges.
Dr. Mufti Aqeel-Ur-Rehman Pirzada expressed keen interest in South Korea’s development experience and education system.
Both sides agreed that greater exchanges, particularly in the fields of education and culture, could contribute to enhanced mutual understanding and further strengthen friendship between the peoples of Pakistan and South Korea.
