Islamabad, October 23,2026: Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan met with newly appointed Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan Irfan Davudov to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation between the two friendly countries.
During the meeting, Abdul Aleem Khan warmly welcomed Ambassador Irfan Davudov on his appointment to Pakistan and congratulated him on assuming the important diplomatic assignment. The federal minister also conveyed his best wishes for the ambassador’s successful tenure in Pakistan.
Both sides discussed opportunities to enhance bilateral cooperation, particularly in the fields of communications, economy and trade. They also exchanged views on exploring new avenues for collaboration to strengthen economic ties and promote mutual interests.
The meeting underscored the importance of further strengthening the longstanding friendly relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan and expanding cooperation across various sectors.
