Lahore, October 23,2026: Bangladesh High Commissioner to Pakistan Md. Iqbal Hossain Khan visited the Golden Pearl cosmetics factory in Lahore on Friday to explore opportunities for strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The visit followed his meeting with the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and aimed to promote business-to-business engagement and identify potential areas of collaboration between Bangladesh and Pakistan.
During the visit, the high commissioner was briefed on the operations of the cosmetics manufacturing facility, highlighting the role of industrial engagement and private-sector partnerships in expanding bilateral economic relations.
The visit also highlighted opportunities to enhance cooperation in the cosmetics and consumer goods sectors, as both countries seek to expand trade, investment and commercial ties.
Greater engagement between businesses in Bangladesh and Pakistan could help identify new market opportunities and strengthen economic collaboration across sectors, the visit underscored.
