Islamabad, October 29,2026: Swedish Ambassador Alexandra Berg von Linde hosted Action Against Hunger (ACF) Regional Operations Director Philippe Hamel and Country Director Muhammad Aamir for a “Fika with Friends” meeting to discuss humanitarian assistance and ways to strengthen community resilience across Pakistan.
The meeting focused on providing life-saving, inclusive and gender-responsive humanitarian support, particularly to vulnerable communities affected by climate change and natural disasters.
Action Against Hunger, in partnership with Sweden, supports communities through essential services, including healthcare, nutrition, mental health support, access to clean drinking water, sanitation and cash assistance.
These initiatives aim to address immediate humanitarian needs while strengthening local systems, empowering communities and enhancing their capacity to prepare for, withstand and recover from emergencies.
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to supporting vulnerable populations and building sustainable, inclusive and resilient communities across Pakistan.
Continued cooperation among humanitarian organisations and international partners remains crucial to addressing emerging challenges and ensuring that assistance reaches those most in need.
