Islamabad, December 3, 2025 – In a major announcement, Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain confirmed that all Hajj applications received by December 3 under the regular and sponsorship schemes have been approved, eliminating the need for a ballot.

The deadline for submitting applications under the Government Hajj Scheme has been extended to December 10, addressing accessibility issues for applicants in remote areas. Applicants can now submit forms at designated banks, while overseas Pakistanis must deposit sponsorship funds by the same date.

To ensure fairness, a ballot will only be conducted if applications exceed the quota. Additionally, the Ministry has launched an online portal and the ‘Pak Hajj’ mobile app, providing a seamless way for applicants to submit forms, track their application status, and receive updates.

The government has emphasized its commitment to simplifying the Hajj process. This year, enhanced support will be provided, including pre-departure training sessions, healthcare facilities, and guided itineraries for aspiring pilgrims.
