D.I. Khan, December 9, 2024: Security forces eliminated two terrorists and apprehended another in injured condition during an intelligence-based operation in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan (D.I Khan), according to the military’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The operation was launched following credible intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the region. During the encounter, the troops effectively engaged the terrorists, resulting in the deaths of two militants.
Weapons and ammunition were seized from the terrorists, who were reportedly involved in numerous attacks against security forces and the targeted killings of civilians.
A follow-up sanitization operation is underway to ensure no other threats remain in the area. “Pakistan’s security forces are resolute in their commitment to eradicating the scourge of terrorism from the country,” stated the ISPR.
