Rawalpindi, December 10, 2024: Security forces killed 15 terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Sambaza area of Balochistan’s Zhob district on Tuesday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported. One soldier, Sepoy Arif ur Rehman, was martyred during the exchange of fire.

The operation was launched on December 10, targeting a terrorist hideout. According to the ISPR, troops engaged the terrorists effectively, recovering a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives. The fallen soldier, 32-year-old Sepoy Rehman from Mansehra district, was hailed for his gallantry during the intense battle. Ongoing sanitization operations aim to eliminate any remaining threats in the area.

The military reiterated its commitment to eradicating terrorism, emphasizing that the sacrifices of its soldiers strengthen its resolve to restore peace and stability in Pakistan.
