£190 million reference: final verdict delayed yet again

Islamabad, January 5, 2025:The verdict in the £190 million reference case against imprisoned PTI founding leader Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi has been delayed once again. According to media reports, citing sources, lawyers will be informed of the new date for the verdict announcement tomorrow.

The court had reserved its decision on December 18, and this is the third time the date for issuing the verdict has been changed. Initially scheduled for December 23, the announcement was first postponed to January 6. Judge Nasir Javed Rana of the Accountability Court was expected to deliver the decision tomorrow before this latest postponement.

The prison trial for the £190 million reference involving Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi concluded in a year.
