Islamabad, January 14, 2025: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cybercrime Wing has registered a case against PTI leader Shehbaz Gill and journalist Moeed Pirzada over allegations of spreading negative propaganda against the government and security institutions.

According to the FIA inquiry, both individuals were found involved in disseminating fake news targeting the security forces. The investigation revealed that the accused shared false content on social media to create rifts between the military and the public.

The case has been registered under the complaint of Sub-Inspector Muneeb Zafar. The FIA Cybercrime Wing has vowed to take strict action against those spreading misinformation and harming national unity.
