Karachi, February 3, 2025: Saudi Arabia’s low-cost carrier, Flyadeal, has officially launched operations in Pakistan, marking the arrival of its inaugural flight from Riyadh to Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport on Saturday morning. The flight, F3-661, was greeted with a ceremonial water salute upon landing at 8:04 AM.

Flyadeal’s Flight Schedule to Pakistan:
  • Riyadh to Karachi: Every Thursday
  • Jeddah to Karachi: Every Saturday

Flyadeal, a subsidiary of Saudi national carrier Saudia, plans to expand its network across major Pakistani cities. CEO Con Korfiatis emphasized the airline’s commitment to broadening its global reach, hinting at future routes to Pakistan.

Head of Sales, Farooq S. Ahmad, noted the strong demand for travel between the two countries, driven by millions of Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia and the high volume of religious tourism. “Saudi Arabia is probably the number one destination for Pakistanis, with many traveling for Hajj, Umrah, or to visit family members,” Ahmad said.

Flyadeal’s expansion to Pakistan follows successful Hajj charter flights in 2024, and this marks the airline’s first scheduled commercial service in the country. Operating on a low-cost model, Flyadeal aims to provide affordable travel options for all passengers. The inaugural Karachi-Riyadh flight was fully booked, and flights for the coming week are also sold out.

Flyadeal has ambitious plans to broaden its presence in Pakistan, with plans to launch routes to Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Multan, and Sialkot. Ahmad stated, “We have a comprehensive plan for Pakistan,” adding that the airline has already established an office in Karachi.

With Flyadeal’s entry, travelers can expect affordable and convenient options for flying between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, catering to expatriates, business travelers, and pilgrims alike.
