Dubai/Lahore, March 2, 2025: The semi-final stage of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 is now set following India’s 44-run victory over New Zealand in Dubai. With this win, India topped Group A, while New Zealand secured the second spot.

India will take on Australia on March 4, in Dubai while South Africa will play New Zealand March 5 at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.

India’s unbeaten run in the group stage sees them facing Australia in a high-stakes rematch of the 2023 ODI World Cup final. Political tensions mean India continues to play outside Pakistan, with the Dubai International Cricket Stadium set to host this blockbuster clash.

Australia, finishing second in Group B, had two of their three matches washed out but will now aim to break India’s momentum in what is expected to be a hard-fought battle.

New Zealand, still reeling from their loss to India, returns to Pakistan for the second semi-final against a dominant South African side led by Temba Bavuma. South Africa topped Group B with consistent performances, making them strong contenders for the title.

Pakistan’s hosting of this semi-final is a historic moment, marking the country’s first ICC knockout match in decades.

With intense rivalries, high stakes, and a place in the final on the line, cricket fans can expect two electrifying contests as the tournament nears its climax.
