Anti-Enchroachment operations should be launched as soon as possible-Muhammad Ali Randhawa
Islamabad, September 4, 2024 – In a meeting held at the Capital Development Authority (CDA) headquarters on Wednesday, CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa directed the immediate commencement of development work and anti-encroachment operations in various sectors of Islamabad, with a particular focus on Sector E-12. The meeting was attended by key officials, including the Member Administration, Member Engineering, Member Estate, and representatives from the Enforcement and other relevant departments.
Chairman Randhawa stressed the urgency of initiating developmental activities in Sector E-12, instructing that an anti-encroachment operation be launched to clear illegally occupied land and expedite progress. He emphasized the need for close coordination between the CDA, Islamabad Police, and Islamabad Administration to swiftly address any challenges that could hinder development.
Chairman Randhawa also announced his plans to personally visit Sector E-12 to oversee the resolution of issues and accelerate the development process. He highlighted the importance of resolving encroachments and ensuring that the rehabilitation of affected individuals is managed effectively on-site. Furthermore, the Chairman directed the Enforcement Wing to collaborate closely with the Member Estate to streamline development efforts across other sectors, including I-15 and I-12, where similar anti-encroachment measures are needed to facilitate timely project completion
