Lahore, December 7, 2024-Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is set to depart for China on Sunday, marking her first official visit abroad since assuming office.
The visit comes at the invitation of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). During her three-day stay from December 8 to 10, CM Maryam Nawaz will visit key cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou, as part of a packed itinerary.
Accompanying the Chief Minister will be a 10-member delegation, which includes Marriyum Aurangzeb, reflecting a focus on strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between the two nations.
As part of the official engagements, CM Maryam Nawaz will also participate in an investment conference, highlighting Punjab’s potential for foreign investment and fostering opportunities for collaboration.
This visit underscores Pakistan’s continued commitment to enhancing its relationship with China, a long-standing ally and strategic partner.
