The final, held in Hulunbuir, marked China’s first-ever appearance in the Asian Champions Trophy final, where they delivered a strong performance against the experienced Indian side, an Olympic bronze medalist team. Despite several efforts from both teams, the match remained goalless for the first three quarters. In the ninth minute of the final quarter, India’s Jugraj Singh scored the only and decisive goal of the match.
In the third-place playoff, Pakistan delivered an impressive performance, defeating South Korea 5-2 to secure the bronze medal. Pakistan’s commanding display in the match ensured a respectable finish in the tournament.
