Lahore, October 27,2024- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that his government’s allies made it it possible to pass the 26th meeting. During his meeting with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari PM said that the credit for the 26th amendment goes to our allies. We have always believed in serving the nation and will continue to do so.
The two leaders discussed the national political landscape following the 26th amendment, which Bilawal praised as a historic step. The 27th amendment was also discussed in the meeting and it was agreed that other political parties will also be consulted.
The Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider and former prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf accompanied the PPP chairman, while National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, and PM’s Adviser Rana Sanaullah were also present.
Bilawal Bhutto expressed his commitment to standing with the government in support of Parliament and democracy.
