Lahore, December 12, 2024: The registration and trade window for foreign players in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 is now open, as reported by Pakistani media citing the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The PCB confirmed that the category renewals for players will be announced on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Additionally, the relegation process and player retention will take place throughout the month.
The PSL 10 Players’ Draft is scheduled for January 11, 2025, with the venue and time to be announced in due course.
Salman Naseer, CEO of the Pakistan Super League, highlighted that the opening of the foreign players’ registration window marks the beginning of preparations for PSL 10. He praised the HBL PSL as a home-grown brand, proud of its journey since its inception in 2016. “Together with our franchise owners, commercial partners, and stakeholders, we have embarked on a successful journey,” Naseer said. He further emphasized the league’s commitment to delivering exciting cricket and providing loyal fans with exceptional experiences.
Islamabad United, the defending champions, won the previous edition in 2024 and have secured the PSL title three times. Lahore Qalandars have won twice, while Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators, Karachi Kings, and Multan Sultans each have one title from the nine editions held so far.
